ICF — the
International Coaching Federation — is the leading global organization dedicated to upholding the integrity, professionalism, and quality of coaching worldwide.
ACC (Associate Certified Coach) is an ICF credential that recognizes a coach who has completed accredited training, passed all required assessments, and accumulated between 100 and 500 hours of hands-on client experience.
An
ACC ICF Coach is a certified professional who practices according to ICF standards and ethics. They follow the ICF Code of Ethics, which ensures clients receive a high-quality, confidential, and safe coaching experience.
A
coaching session is a one-on-one conversation between a coach and a client, typically lasting 30 to 60 minutes. During the session, the coach asks thought-provoking questions that expand the client’s perspective, uncover new possibilities, and help them recognize both their strengths and blind spots.
The coach doesn’t give advice, share personal opinions or judge. Instead, they create a space where the client can think freely, make their own choices, and take full responsibility for their decisions and growth.
